Calling all fans of love! Well, who isn’t?!
This Friday starting at 9pm as part of The Girlie show I shall be asking the question…What’s the most romantic thing anyone has ever done for you? Am hoping for some varied answers…and amusing ones too of course!
If you’re feeling cynical do not despair… I have some Valentines jokes for you, and plenty of suggestions of how to spend Cupids Day if you are not part of a smug couple. And if you are, I can offer Credit Crunch suggestions for you to do and /or make for your hearts desire. Cheap and cheerful, not sickly and sweet!
At 10pm I will be joined, as always, by Maureen Fearon! Feel free to call us if we can help you on the subject of love, whatever your query! Hello Listeners!

Hello listeners! Thanks to one and all for continued support for The Girlie Show, you rock my world (and my Fridays in particular) Now we all fear change slightly…but fear not as I have some new and exciting features to add to the show. ‘The Girly Showdown’ will be your opportunity to have your say in what I play as the final tune of the show every week. You can choose betwen two tunes and I will close the show on the one with the most votes. Simple.
Now you are very clued up and always willing to participate in the current feature ‘Boys Bits’ so add to this ‘Girlie Tips’ and the Yin-Yang balance is restored as I reccommend some things that may help you in your Girlie world.

The Girly Show 26 July 08

If you go down to the woods today you’re sure of a big surprise……if you listen to The Girly Show your’re in for an even better one. Tonight I’ll be talking picnics (it is National Park Week after all!) I want you to get in touch with your favourite picnic items and who you would want to join you and you hamper of goodies on your perfect picnic (baggsy George Clooney!)

Plus all the usual stuff, fruit corner, Ice-cream of the week, Whine of the week and Boys Bits. I’ll be playing some terrific tunes too! E mail in your requests and dedications and I’ll do my bestest.

Hello hello hello!

Hello hello hello! On this weeks show all the usual favourites.. ice-cream of the week, whine of the week, O Sister Where Art thou? Fruit Corner and much more as well as some toe tapping, ass shaking, stilletto stomping trashy tunes. Get you requests in! Got some fabulous facts for you boys as well as a classic song for you senores!

This week we’ll be focusing on………First Dates! Tips for both sexes on the do’s and don’ts (some of which are from personal experience!) Let us know if you have any ideas….and tell us your story of your best ever first date (even if it was also your last!)
